ORLANDO, Fla. (WordNews.org) Sept. 25, 2012 – At schools across the country tomorrow students, teachers and administrators will gather around their flagpoles and pray.

Since 1991, See You at the Pole has spread to more than 20 countries, including Canada, Korea, Japan, Turkey and the Ivory Coast.
Liberty Counsel, a Christian legal aid organization, said the First Amendment guarantees students the right to pray on school grounds. During any noninstructional time—before or after school, in between classes, during the lunch hour, or on the playing field—students may express their opinions verbally or in writing, the group said..
“Liberty Counsel will provide education and, if necessary, legal representation to make sure that youth all over America will be able to gather at the annual See You at the Pole event,” said Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel.
Liberty Counsel is urging students, parents, teachers, or school administrators with questions or who experience trouble to call (800) 671-1776.
