Faithbuddy launches crowdfunding campaign

faithbuddyMANITOBA, Canada (WordNews.org) Dec. 12, 2012 – A crowdfunding campaign has been launched for Faithbuddy.com, a devotional and social network under development.

Faithbuddy Inc., a developer of social networking software and technology, launched the crowdfunding campaign to support and grow Faithbuddy.com.

The site has been privately tested for several months and a public release is expected soon.

“We wanted to bless our backers with something more than memberships and tee-shirts,” said Faithbuddy president Trent Coroy. “At the same time we thought we saw an opportunity to honor and promote some folks who combine their creative excellence with an evident pursuit of Jesus Christ. So we reached out — and have received so many gracious and generous responses in support of what we’re doing! We’re very thankful.”

Faithbuddy’s contributors have also taken time to share testimonies about Jesus.

“What we’re doing here — it’s all about Jesus. He’s the whole point,” said Coroy. “So we challenged ourselves and our contributors to share about him. These testimonies go way beyond the fluff, they are powerful, visceral and real.”
