NEW YORK (WordNews.org) Aug. 25, 2011 — While Hurricane Irene, a Category 3 storm, has yet to make landfall, one ministry is urging those on the East Coast not to delay evacuating.
“CEN prayerfully urges churches throughout the eastern coastal region to begin evacuating their homes and churches now before Saturday when emergency management may give orders to evacuate,” the Christian Emergency Network said in a statement. “Leaving on Saturday may be too late.”
