NASHVILLE (WordNews.org) Dec. 5, 2011 — Erica Lane tells how her first Christmas album sort of evolved out of necessity.
“The album came about last year. We did a live Christmas concert in Nashville. I had an orchestra and choir backing me,” the Christian recording artist recalled. “The original plan was to record and make a live Christmas album out of that concert night. And then I ended up getting really sick that night.”
Erica, a former Miss Houston, performed anyway.
“I went ahead and did the show because it was scheduled even though I was in pretty bad shape. I was in bed for two days after that,” she said.
Eventually, she made it to the studio to hear the recording of the concert.
