SAN JOSE, Calif. (WordNews.org) — The head of USA Christian Ministries is calling on Christianity’s most well-known pastors and ministry leaders to step down.
In Pastor Steven Andrew’s list are: Joel Osteen, Franklin Graham, Jerry Falwell Jr., Richard Land and Pat Robertson. The reason?
“These preachers have ignored God’s Word. They have led people astray to vote for non-Christian, Mormon Mitt Romney,” said Andrew, president of USA Christian Ministries and author of “Making A Strong Christian Nation.”
Andrew said he offered to talk with these preachers privately but they wouldn’t meet. Romney is leads the GOP ticket for president
“The Bible teaches, ‘Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear,’” he said, citing 1 Timothy 5:20. A video can be seen here.
Andrew said Scripture says that those who preach another gospel are “accursed” (Galatians 1:9). Christians believe Jesus Christ is the second Person of the Godhead, but Mormons think Jesus is a created being, the spirit brother of Lucifer. As a Mormon, Romney thinks he will become a god. Christians consider this evil, he said.
“These preachers are breaking the First Commandment, the first of the Ten Commandments, Psalm 1 and the Great Commission. To betray Jesus is a greater sin than abortion and homosexual sin,” he added. “God cannot bless voting for non-Christians. No one comes to God except through Jesus — this includes the USA.”.
Andrew said Ron Paul is the only Christian running for president.
“It doesn’t matter if Romney has a Christian for VP-voting for Romney is sin,” Andrew said.
Andrew is organizing 1000 pastors to pastor the USA. He is raising funds to buy TV time and to expand. To help support these ministries, click here.
