COLUMBUS, Ohio (WordNews.org) June 12, 2012 –Created Equal, a pro-life group, is launching what it is calling a “voter education strategy” in seven battle ground states.
The project official begins on Saturday, June 23, when a mobile billboard rolls into Columbus, Ohio. Other states being targeted are Pennsylvania, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Missouri and Iowa.
The graphic billboard depicts aborted fetuses.
The goal, organizers said, is to save lives, register voters, and turn out the pro-life vote on Nov. 6, 2012.
“America is at a crossroads,” said Mark Harrington, executive director of Created Equal. “We have been killing children in the womb for almost forty years. On Nov. 6, 2012, America will either choose life or death. Our billboards permit the victims of abortion to speak for themselves. If the photographic evidence of the injustice of abortion doesn’t activate the pro-life vote, nothing will.”

According to Gallup Poll released last month, 51 percent of Americans label themselves “pro-life” on the issue of abortion and 42 percent call themselves “pro-choice.” Gallup said it is the first time a majority of U.S. adults have identified themselves as pro-life since Gallup began asking this question in 1995.
