CINCINNATI, Ohio (WordNews.org) July 6, 2012 – If you want to get a behind-the-scenes look of how Christian recording artist Holly Spears tackled her first project, you’re in luck.
Girl on Mission Music is releasing “Holly Spears: The Making of Heartache to Hope.” It’s billed as “an insider’s look at the recording process of Spears’ debut album, Heartache to Hope.
The DVD takes fans behind-the-scenes and features interviews with producer Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman, Caedmon’s Call), members of Jars of Clay (who played on the album) and Spears herself, who tells some of the stories behind the songs. There is also footage from the album’s photo shoot and concert footage.
“I am excited to take everyone behind the scenes of the recording process,” Spears said. “This was a really exciting part of my life. A dream come true! I hope it inspires and encourages everyone who watches it!”
