WASHINGTON, D.C.(WordNews.org) Nov. 1, 2012 — More than half of the Millennials surveyed believe Obamacare is a violation of the First Amendment right to freedom of religion.
According to the Generation Opportunity survey, 61 percent young adults between the ages of 18 and 29, believe finding a quality, full-time job with health insurance benefits is more important than staying on their parents’ health insurance plans until they are 26.
And 84 percent said they might delay making any major life changes or make any major purchases until the economy improves.
According to the survey, 76 percent plan to vote, but only 38 percent feel political leaders reflect their interests.
“Young Americans are very concerned about the poor economy, the lack of meaningful, full-time jobs, and the intrusiveness and costs of many of the President’s policies, especially the Affordable Care Act,” said Paul T. Conway, President of Generation Opportunity and former Chief of Staff of the United States Department of Labor under Secretary Elaine L. Chao.
The survey had a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points.
