bosworth2LOS ANGELES (WordNews.org) March 13, 2013 – Does life imitate art? Or art imitate life?
All Pure Flix Entertainment co-founder David A.R. White knows is Brian Bosworth, one of the NFL’s premiere “bad boys,” has accepted Jesus Christ as his savior on March 3.
SPOILER ALERT: The same thing happens to Bosworth’s character, Hawg, the leader of an end-times motorcycle gang in Pure Flix’s latest film, “Revelation Road: The Beginning of the End.”
Bosworth’s been tweeting about it ever since.
White, who co-stars in the film, said Bosworth set up a tour of the film throughout Oklahoma that runs throughout the month.
Bosworth is screening the film at theaters, churches and casinos.
White said one of staff members at Pure Flix questioned having the films shown as the gambling venues.
“Why do we want these things running in casinos?” White was asked. “And I said, ‘Why not? We’ve got this movie, it’s an evangelistic movie.’”
Bosworth, who played linebacker for the University at Oklahoma before being signed by the Seattle Seahawks, knows many of the tribal leaders that own the casinos.
“God’s word—going into casinos. Hallelujah!” White said. “I think it’s the first time ever that a Christian movie has been played in these casinos.”
Bosworth has also screened the film at churches and theaters. It was at one of the screenings that he became a born-again Christian.

“The coolest thing is on March 3, he gave his life to the Lord,” White said. “He screened it at a theater and the people that put it on were believers. Afterward, they were cleaning up and Brian was there and they said, ‘Out of all the people, you’re ready to give your life to the Lord. Why don’t you just do it?’”
White said Bosworth’s character in this film and the sequel, due in theaters this July, goes through a transformation.
“So this guy, in his real life and in the movies, comes to the Lord,” White said. “So it’s neat that it actually happened. It’s incredible, just incredible. You can’t even begin to duplicate that feeling. It’s incredible, knowing Bosworth’s past, knowing the rage, the anger.”
