WASHINGTON, D.C. (WordNews.org) Dec. 30, 2021 – The head of Susan B. Anthony List, a 501 nonprofit organization that seeks to reduce and ultimately end abortion in the U.S., sent out an urgent note to supporters yesterday saying Facebook had disabled its advertisements during a key end-of-year fundraising effort.
“Right after the Supreme Court heard a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade, Facebook disabled SBA List Education Fund’s pro-life ads without providing any reason,” wrote Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List. “But I think we all know the reason: pro-abortion forces are taking drastic measures to try and salvage Roe v. Wade and silence pro-life voices.”
Dannenfelser said the fundraising time lost because of this won’t be recovered but she is hoping people will rally to the cause and help the ministry make up the $37,213 gap in their end-of-year goal.
“2022 is going to be a monumental year for our pro-life movement,” Dannenfelser wrote. “The Supreme Court will make a decision on whether babies capable of smiling and feeling pain have a constitutionally protected right to LIVE. While I am hopeful that at least five out of the nine justices will recognize that such vulnerable little babies have a right to live, I fully understand that we still have a long battle ahead.”
