Greg L. Hawkins’ and Cally Parkinson’s new book “MOVE” has been described as “groundbreaking” following the survey of more than 280,000 congregants and 1,200 churches.
The book is aimed at church leaders to help them evaluate their programs and help church attendees to grow in their faith
Pastor Bill Hybels of Willow Creek Community Church remembers in 2004 taking a step back and asking: “Are we making a difference?”
Following a four-year project that involved conducting spiritual surveys, Hybels realized changes needed to be made.
“What [we] discovered challenged some of our core assumptions about our effectiveness as a church,” he said.
