October Baby out on DVD, Blu-Ray and in book form

NASHVILLE (WordNews.org) Sept. 11, 2012 – October Baby, the story of a 19-year-old who finds out she was not only adopted, but the survivor of an attempted abortion, is now out on DVD, Blu-Ray and in book form.
The film opened at No. 8 in March against The Hunger Games and films with large budgets. It ranked No. 3 in per-screen average sales, earning more than 5.3 million at the box office.
Jon Erwin told WordNews.org that the film was inspired by the story of Gianna Jessen, who also was an abortion survivor, two words he said he’d never heard together before hearing Jessen’s story. Erwin co-directed the film with his brother Andy Erwin.

The book was  co-written by Theresa Preston,who co-wrote the screenplay, and Eric Wilson, who wrote novelations to the films Flywheel, Facing theGiants and Fireproof. The book was released Sept. 1.
