On a mission: Jason Cooper of Jason Cooper Ministries

By   /   September 15, 2012  /   No Comments

SCHENECTADY, N.Y (WordNews.org) Sept. 16, 2012 – Jason Cooper said he started Jason Cooper Ministries after seeing leaders be “one-man” shows, something he says leads to “exhaustion, frustration and burnout.
Ephesians 4 gives us a list of leadership gifts given to the church for health, growth and success,” he said. “The church has not utilized these to the fullest potential and we have a passion to see it begin with us.”

Tell us about your ministry?
God has commissioned us as a resource to partner with pastors, leaders, organizations and their vision to help impact, inspire and connect their people and equip and encourage them for maturity and growth.

How is the ministry is going since Jason Cooper Ministries — jasoncooper.org — was founded?
Since moving to New York over two years ago, God has been faithful in connecting us with strategic, like- minded, kingdom people which has resulted in seeing God’s miracle working power in the peoples lives and it having a lasting effect in local churches.

What are your future plans.
Our future plans are to connect with more churches, pastors, leaders and organizations and continue to be a resource to them.
-Mark 16:17, 18 says “And these signs will follow those that believe; In my name they will cast out devils; they will speak with new tongues; if they take up serpents and drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them; they will lay hands on the sick and they will recover” This is what we are seeing in our ministry.

Tell us little bit about your testimony.
3rd generation preacher. Received Christ at the age of 13. Called into the ministry at 19.

How can people help/participate?
Three ways.
1. Pray for our family
2. Pray that strategic kingdom connections will continue
3. Support us financially
