WASHINGTON, D.C. (WordNews.org) Aug. 25, 2011 — Vice President Joseph Biden’s comments that he “fully understands” China’s one-child policy is being criticized by a minister who says Biden understands the policy because the minister told Biden about it.
Steven Mosher of the Population Research Institute, said he’s been an eyewitness to forced abortions in China.
“While serving as a commissioner of the U.S. Commission on Broadcasting to China, I briefed then-Senator Biden on population control, Chinese style,” he said.
“I know that Joe Biden ‘fully understands’ how women are arrested for the ‘crime’ of being pregnant, how they are incarcerated and browbeaten for this ‘crime,’ and how they are forced to undergo abortions and sterilizations,” Mosher said, “I know because I told him so.”
Biden has since said he finds the one-child policy repugnant.
