TUPELO, Miss. (WordNews.org) Nov. 26, 2011 — A number of ministries have begun issuing what they call “naughty” and “nice” lists, noting which companies are Christmas-friendly and which ones they believe are not Christmas friendly.
The American Family Association sent out an email-blast to supports saying Walgreens moved back to the “nice” list after apologizing “for offending customers by labeling dozens of Christmas-specific items as ‘holiday’ in its pre-Thanksgiving newspaper inserts last Sunday.
The AFA said Walgreens responded to “thousands of phone calls.” Walgreens community affairs director John Gremer issued the following statement to AFA:
