Word News is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ministry whose primary purpose is to improve the coverage of Christianity within the secular media.

The goal of Word News is to help secular media—television, radio, blogs, print and online media outlets—better cover Christianity by giving reporters and editors as well as commentators quick access to Christian organizations and leaders that have “boots on the ground” – people who are involved in specific ministries that may be relevant to a given topic.

Word News is building a database with contact information of these relevant sources that desire to make themselves available to the secular media on deadline.

Word News also has a national network of reporters covering news of interest to Christians.
