DALLAS (WordNews.org) Oct. 22, 2011 — A men’s conference scheduled for next month is Dallas is focused on men’s leadership role in families in the midst of economic turmoil.

“Lion’s Rour 2011 Global Summit,” put on by the Christian Men’s Network, is scheduled for Nov. 3-5.

Organizers said in the midst of the current economic crisis, “one vital statistic has gone unreported: Single-parent households are nearly twice as likely to be living in poverty.”

Recognizing that a family is financially and emotionally strongest when both a father and mother are present, the summit will focus on encouraging men to become courageous leaders at home and in business.

“Men of integrity make strong families. strong families make strong churches and strong churches transform nations,” said Pastor Paul Cole, president of the Christian Men’s Network. Cole is the son of Edwin Louis Cole, author of “Maximized Manhood,” considered a classic. “Ultimately, the key to reversing the financial crisis starts with men who choose to live their lives with integrity.”
