TERRE HAUTE, Ind., (WordNews.org) March 12, 2012 — Headed into church in a hurry and forgot your wallet or checkbook?

Not to worry. Now, you can text in your tithe.

It’s a new product by BGW 21st Century Solutions. BGW calls it their mobile wallet service that allows cell phone users to make donations of any amount at any time via a simple text message.

BGW is tapping into a growing market The firm said more and more payments are made electronically and church members are less and less likely to carry cash or checks.

“We developed MoPin in order to allow mobile phone users to easily and securely tie their mobile number to payment information so that with a simple text message they can make a tithe or donation to their church,” said Daniel Cook, founder of Building God’s Way Services, a company that has been serving the church market for over 20 years and provides SMS devotional subscriptions at www.greatertexting.com.

Donations can be made at any time, from anywhere. Donors can even set up text message auto-payments and reminders, so when they can’t make it to church one Sunday, they can still donate.
