TUPELO, Miss. (WordNews.org) July 22, 2012 – Office Depot’s is promoting a gay agenda that states people are born homosexual, the American Family Association says.
Office Depot is providing $1 million to the cause and teaming up with recording artist Lady Gaga to encourage students that they’re “born this way,” the title of a Lady Gaga song.
To spread the message, Office Depot and Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation have created several special, limited-edition products for back-to-school this year. Office Depot is donating 25 percent of the sale of each item back to the promotion of homosexuality, with a guaranteed payout of $1 million.
AFA said there is no “credible evidence that people are born ‘gay.’ Homosexuality is a poor and dangerous choice, and has been proven to lead to a litany of health hazards to not only the individuals but also society as a whole.
AFA accused Office Depot of attempting to attract children to the gay lifestyle by the deceiving title “Empowering Youth”. That is horribly irresponsible and will ultimately lead children to a higher chance of becoming victims to alcohol and drug abuse, depression and even suicide.
AFA is urging people to send an email message to Chairman Neil Austrian today.
Using your email client, copy and past the sample message below (or write your own) and send it to the following Office Depot executives:
Chairman Neil Austrian neil.austrian@officedepot.com
President Kevin Peters kevin.peters@officedepot.com
Chief Marketing Officer Robert Moore robert.moore@officedepot.com
Kathy Campbell, Senior Customer Advocate kathy.campbell@officedepot.com
The corporate office number is 561-438-4800.
“Plan to do your back-to-school shopping at somewhere other than Office Depot,” AFA President Tim Wildmon said. “If you own or operate a business, cancel your account and take your business elsewhere.”
Here’s a sample message AFA provided:
Office Depot’s support for the “Born this way” campaign is terribly irresponsible.
There is zero credible evidence that people are born gay. Homosexuality is a poor and dangerous choice, and has been proven to lead to a litany of health hazards to not only the individuals but also society as a whole.
By backing this social agenda, Office Depot is deceiving our nation’s young people into accepting a lifestyle that has proven to increase their chances of becoming victims to alcohol and drug abuse, depression and even suicide.
I urge Office Depot to drop this campaign and leave the raising of children to their parents.
