BUENA PARK, Calif. (WordNews.org) July 23, 2012 — The Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington D.C. is starting a monthly prayer tour in Hollywood beginning Aug. 18. Chairman Pastor Wiley Drake of the First Southern Baptist Church of Buena Park, and his co-chairman Dr. Clyde Rivers, ambassador to the African country of Burundi, are spearheading this event to re-claim Hollywood for Christ.
Organizers said the tour will be held the third Saturday of each month.
The Congressional Prayer Conference started in January 2000.
The CPC also has daily morning prayer time at 5-7 a.m. Eastern time through the conference on the prayer line (712) 432-1690 access code 399430#. The focus of the morning prayer time highlights the Congress.
