No King’s College students, teachers impacted by Empire State Building shooting

NEW YORK (WordNews.org) August 24, 2012 — The King’s College issued a statement this morning that no one affiliated with the school has been hurt by the shooting at the Empire State Building.

Yahoo! reported that three people are dead, including the gunman. The 9 a.m. shooting was described as a workplace dispute. ABC reported the gunman, his co-worker and a bystander died in the shooting and another seven were wounded.

The King’s College just completed its move to its new campus at 52 Broadway in Lower Manhattan (near Wall Street) on Wednesday, Aug. 18th. The college no longer has offices in the Empire State Building.

The school said “move-in” and orientation is proceeding as planned.
