VENTURA, Calif. (WordNews.org) July 1, 2020 — A Barna Group survey finds 87 percent of practicing Christians see America as a world leader and 80 percent agree with the statement that America is a Christian nation.
Meanwhile, 48 percent agree with the statement that the Unites States has been oppressive to minorities and 38 percent believe the country has a “race problem.” That number more than doubles (78 percent) among African-Americans.
The data was collected July 19-Aug. 5, 2019.
